The NO rainout record for the Boone Speedway is getting tarnished this season as for the second week in a row, Mother Nature put a big damper on the racing. After having a rainout on the final season championship night on September 3, 2011, the record held back to the 2009 season for having no cancellations. The second shower that came through just as hot laps were completed, proved to be the factor that determined the call for the cancellation.
Next Saturday night, April 28, will be yet another attempt to get the season opener for regular point’s racing in as scheduled.
